Serving Our Neighbors: Grace in Action at Saint Paul’s
At Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, we believe that loving our neighbors means showing up for them in tangible, compassionate ways. Right here in Richmond, Indiana, we are committed to being a beacon of support, safety, and nourishment for those experiencing hardships.
Here is how we are currently serving our community throughout the week:
🌟 Weekly Fellowship Meals with the Zoda Homeless Ministry
We are incredibly proud to partner with the Zoda Homeless Ministry Team. During the week, they utilize our facilities to host a fellowship meal for our unhoused neighbors. This vital ministry goes beyond just providing physical nourishment—it offers a safe, welcoming space where people can experience dignity, connection, and a true sense of community.
🍞 24/7 Support: Our Grab-and-Go Blessing Box
Hunger doesn’t keep office hours. To ensure our neighbors have access to food at any time of day or night, our outdoor Blessing Box is fully operational throughout the week. Stocked three times a week with grab-and-go food options, snacks, and essential hygiene items, it serves as an immediate, discreet resource for anyone in Richmond needing a helping hand.
How You Can Get Involved
A strong community takes all of us. If you feel called to support these vital outreach efforts, here is how you can help:
- Stock the Blessing Box: We are always accepting donations of non-perishable, easy-to-open food items (like pop-top cans, granola bars, and peanut butter) and travel-sized toiletries.
- Support Our Partnerships: Keep the Zoda Homeless Ministry Team and the folks they serve in your prayers, or reach out to see how you can volunteer.
